I have just got home from my full CPR, First Aid and Anaphylaxis training. For the first time ever, I've walked out of that kind of training confident and optimistic in my ability to administer first Aid. All the other courses I've taken, have been overwhelming and the instructor mono toned. While they were certainly knowledgeable they were boring. I dreaded the day someone may actually rely on me to help them. With these guys first I did the online training. It was really quite enjoyable. It had a captivating introduction, short movies then I was asked some multiple choice questions. The great thing about it was, I could get up and do something, and come back to it! Then today was the hands on training. Gail was our instructor today and really was, absolutely fantastic. We were all engaged and made to feel very comfortable. She went at a nice pace and gave examples of situations. Because of this we were able to visualise the situation and understood what was done and why. I really can't speak highly enough about them. I even told the lady serving me in coles when she asked how my day went! I drove from the other side of the city today for it and I'd certainly do it again! It was so worth it! Senior First Aid Course Brisbane
